Tuesday night I was able to participate in pitching an event to the Baldwin County Relay For Life Kickoff Committee. This was my second year doing this and this experience was better than the first one. I enjoyed my team members and we all worked great together by bringing great ideas to the table as well as feeding off each others creative direction. I felt more prepared for this pitch and felt successful in knowing we delivered our pitch well and put a lot of symbolism behind "Pin the Cure on Cancer."
I am really excited about the pitch that was chosen, "Celebrating a Memory." I know this kickoff event will be executed wonderfully and will be one of the best kickoff events thus far. My class has come up with great ideas for decorations, food, survivor video, etc. I cannot wait to start the implementation process of our event and see the nice donations we receive from businesses around Milledgeville.
