Happy Thanksgiving!

I always enjoy coming home for Thanksgiving Break every year during college. It is a time to catch up on laundry, hang out with family & friends, eat a lot of food that I did not have to cook, and just relax knowing that there is not school work pressing. I am so thankful to have a place to come home to and family that loves me and are my biggest fans.

This Thanksgiving is just like every other Thanksgiving since I started college, it is just my mom, dad, and myself. I like it being just the three of us, because I get to spend a lot of time with them and not have the hassle of going to other people's houses for visits. I am very much of a homebody person.

There is so much to be thankful about this year and I start with the fact that my parents still have their jobs. During this year, the economy has not been the best and by turning on the news, we see that there are a lot of people who have lost their jobs this year. I am thankful to have a house and a warm bed that I sleep in every night. I am thankful for family and friends who are always there for me and love me to matter how crazy I might get.

It is weird to think that it is my last Thanksgiving Break at home as a college student and that the next time I come home, I will be a college graduate! It is mind blowing to think about.
