What was his Tipping Point?

On Thursday November 5th, 2009, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan started shooting his fellow soldiers in a medical building on the base of Fort Hood in Texas. These soldiers were getting their final clearance before heading off to war. Reports tell us that he was against the war and trying everything he could to get out of the army. Watching 20/20 last Thursday, Elizabeth Vargas asked the question, "What was his Tipping Point?" This brought back the idea of Malcolm Gladwell's book The Tipping Point and what makes something or someone go over the edge and snap?

Reports said that he might have tipped because of racial slurs and hazing within his squadron, but new information keeps coming in about this man. No one will no for sure what went on in his head when he decided to shoot 13 of his fellow soldiers. The question remains, "Do you really know your neighbors?"
